Individual Learning

Careful planning takes into account each child’s individual needs, informed by sensitive listening, observations and reflection by our experienced and skilled staff.

Staff support child-initiated and spontaneous play exceptionally well, and because they understand each child’s individual needs they are able to ensure that they are challenged and helped to make outstanding progress.

We complete comprehensive learning profiles for each child which include key worker observations and assessments with weekly plans and details of the next steps in the child’s learning and development. With a continuous cycle of weekly evaluations we are able to ensure these plans are exactly tailored to meet the requirement of each individual child.

At the end of the year, these special books filled with photos, examples of work and detailing key events make a lovely memento of each child’s time at the Nursery and the progress they have made.
